My daughter was staying in the hospital for a few days. It was time for her to get washed up and I had left for a few hours but planned to do it when I got back. Upon my arrival, I walked in and noticed she was cleaned, and her hair was done. My daughter and I are African American, and my daughter has a ton of hair. There is a certain way her hair has to be done and I was taken back that she did her hair, and correctly. It just made my heart melt during a really crappy week. Then to top it off, she made a promise to my daughter that they would go for a ride and drop a slinky down some stairs. She got busy and was already well past her shift time but came back to take my daughter for her stroll and to hold true to her promise! She is not only an amazing nurse, but Chelsea is also an amazing human being!
