Jessica works hard to extend the Healing Ministry of Christ to her wound care patients. Her diligence in providing whole-person care sets her apart in the minds of her patients. She offers encouragement throughout the healing process. Treating some wounds can take an extended amount of time, but Jessica helps guide her patients on their journey back to health. She gets to know them and treats them each with kindness.

A recent patient of Jessica’s shares, “From my very first visit, this professional nurse has given above 100% of herself to the healing of my wound.” He says, “She cares about the patient. Jessica got to know me and some of my issues that could impede the healing process. She treated me with tough love, telling me, 'You have to take ownership in this process'. My visits were dotted with conversation and laughter. She joined right in with my dry sense of humor. There were days I was down, and she cheered me up.” He says, “She is respected and admired by those she works with and the doctors in the unit.” And adds, “She is the essence of a Florence Nightingale at AdventHealth.”
