Trisha has worked and given 110% on the 10th floor for 15 years. She started as a nurse tech, then a nurse, and now a charge nurse. She is an extraordinary person, nurse, and charge nurse. Trisha’s exceptional leadership and teamwork skills combined with her empathy and advocacy for our patients make her an amazing charge nurse. Trisha always goes the extra mile to support and uplight her colleagues. Her unwavering commitment to patient care and well-being along with her concern for her colleagues burning out is evidenced by her willingness to come in early, stay late, and even lend a hand in the outpatient infusion center when staffing is short. Trisha is able to navigate through complex situations, resolve conflicts and proactively identify potential issues while keeping her sense of humor and uplifting personality. Her contribution has been truly invaluable to the 10th floor and our patients. We are all so fortunate to have her as a leader and friend; she is truly deserving of this award.
