Lindsay was very caring and helpful. She made sure I was comfortable and assisted me when I needed help. I know she is not in this job for money. She stood by my side as I went through multiple bedside procedures with my chest tube. Today, I got my chest tube removed and I had asked her to hold my hand when it happened. Another nurse had called her and asked her to do something with another patient, but she saw the doctor coming in to remove my chest tube. She asked if another nurse could help with that patient so she could stay with me. I have enjoyed having Lindsay as my nurse and I say she is the best nurse in the hospital.

As J's mom, I was worried that he was in the hospital, by himself, without me here all of the time. However, I realized he was never truly alone when I met his nurse, Lindsay. Lindsay made my son feel comfortable enough to open up; he felt like he could tell her anything. Most nurses come in and leave, they are often rushed. But Lindsay was different. We never felt like she rushed through listening to my son and my concerns. She made sure to follow up with us and explained everything every step of the way. My son had mentioned that he had no one to pray for him, and she asked if it was okay to pray with him. He said "Yes" and they shared that special moment together. Ever since then, he talks highly of Lindsay and is excited when she is his nurse. I am so grateful for the care she provided to my son in his greatest time of need.
