Maggie ALWAYS brings her whole heart to work and tirelessly advocates and supports all of our patients, many of whom find themselves in very difficult and vulnerable places as pregnant and parenting women with opioid use disorder. She is a woman who gets things done and makes things happen, through her passion, creativity, and knack for thinking outside of the box.

There are so many stories I can tell to demonstrate her many, many amazing qualities. Recently, she has been an essential advocate for a patient undergoing a major health challenge requiring out-of-state follow-up, doggedly working across systems to break down barriers and ensure timely needed care.

She has assisted women in finding new housing so they can escape domestic violence or other unsafe situations. Her energy, commitment, and follow-through have kept bigger-scale projects on track which bring our programs to the next level. Maggie is also such a joy to be around. She inspires and uplifts everyone around her with her, and her infectious laugh elevates the work environment for our whole team. Maggie is a true DAISY Nurse.
