My parents are winter Texans from Kansas. That being said, neither they nor us kids had any insight into what health systems are like down here. By chance, we were advised to come to McAllen Med Center where we have experienced the most professional, compassionate, and complete care in our lives. The five of us kids live all over the country and traveled at various times to be alongside Dad throughout his stay. While all the staff was amazing, Krizma somehow found a way to show extraordinary compassion for my dad and me. (as I stayed overnight in his room). Even though we felt like we were pressing the call button too often Krizma assured us that it was fine and took care of Dad as if he was her only patient. It really seemed as though she treated my dad as if he were her own family. Thank you again for all you do and please know how much of a difference you made in Dad’s recovery!
