Matthew went above and beyond for my son who was admitted Ward 12 when he was four days old. It was a terrifying experience as I was also recovering from major surgery and worried about whether I would be able to care for my son while in hospital. Then comes Matthew. His guidance, support, and wonderful, warm nature helped me and my son through this. I was incredibly overwhelmed and his reassurance was exactly what I needed. He offered support with breastfeeding, soothing techniques, and in general, his knowledge was second to none. I will forever remember my time here on Ward 12 and will always be indebted to Matthew for the care he provided.
