Trese transferred to our department from the ER to the recovery room. Trese has gone above and beyond her call of duty almost every day she works in the department. Lately, we have been boarding patients in the PACU overnight and into the day. Trese took the boarder assignment without any hesitation.

On one occasion she had 5 boarders and she hustled to discharge 4 of them to home. She got the team involved early and discussed with the patients their plan of care to get them home. On another occasion, one of the directors was doing an audit through the PACU and saw a nurse holding a patient's hand while she was charting. That nurse happened to be Trese. She always puts her patients first. You can give Trese any assignment or task and she will complete it with a smile on her face. Thank you, Trese, for looking out for your patients!
