The Float Pool all love what they do and love interacting with different people every day. They all also give each other a hand when needed! The team works extremely hard to provide excellent care. One of the challenges with the float pool is you do not have a physical home unit. You are floated to different places every shift (sometimes multiple times a shift) and never see the same people. But this team is different. They check in on each other, meet up for breaks, and schedule offsite outings. They all know who is working each shift and check on each other.

The group is flexible and willing to show up wherever they are needed. They fill in the holes, have positive attitudes, and are very knowledgeable. The team is comprised of many different nurses with a variety of nursing backgrounds who come together and always operate as a team. The staff are experienced in many areas of nursing from acute care to med-surg nursing which takes skill and determination. The whole team goes above and beyond each shift with a positive attitude and is ready to help in any circumstance. The team is thrown into difficult situations and handles it all with willingness and grace. They might not have their own designated unit, but they have created a family.
