Alexis, from the moment I arrived, was positive, upbeat, and a shot in the arm for my spirit, which was very much needed after a long frustrating day. She was truly amazing, she was caring, and compassionate, and made me feel like I’d known her forever and like I was family. She was very thorough and detail-oriented about my medical needs, but she lovingly tended to my emotional needs as well. She gave me time to feel at ease and attended to any needs or requests quickly. Without skipping a beat, Alexis would tend to other people and duties as well. She truly cares about her patients and coworkers. Her kind, sweet, gentle, and naturally empathetic nature is a blessing and an encouragement to those who are lucky enough to have her as their nurse. She is a “Happy Volcano” bursting with positive and good things. Too bad we can’t clone those qualities because the world needs more people like her! I’m surprised she doesn’t have a jacket full of DAISYs. She deserves it. She gives 200%. I’m thankful and blessed to have met her. We need more people like Alexis.
