I am a 38 y/o female who has been healthy the majority of my life and never been hospitalized. Being admitted to ICU and then transferred to 7A has been an experience that I could not imagine going through without Cory as my nurse. She has been my strength, and comfort and has touched my life in so many ways and when I needed an advocate, she was there. When I was in pain and mentally struggling, she was there. She put my mind at ease and showed so much compassion and concern when it came to my health and doing everything she could to keep me smiling, motivated, and looking forward to overcoming obstacles that came my way since I have been in her care. She is busy but always so graceful and makes her patients a true priority. I wish there was something more I could nominate her for because she is one of a kind and has gone above and beyond in every step, helping me recover and eventually be home with my children. I am so thankful for her!
