Liz was the person I needed to help me birth my first baby, an experience that I was incredibly nervous about. I knew from the moment we met that I needed her energy in my labor and delivery room. She made me feel empowered and capable by honoring my birth plan and providing endless encouragement when I felt like giving up. She ensured that I was as comfortable as possible by introducing different laboring positions and offering different interventions. She instructed my husband how to help me during pushing and I truly felt that the three of us were a team. She was diligent in monitoring my vitals and the baby's vitals all throughout, during, and after delivery, and I felt like we were both very well taken care of. I'm incredibly grateful to have had her as my nurse. It is evident that she is truly passionate about her job and about her patients. I felt comfortable and heard during a very vulnerable and important life event. When I think about my birth experience, I will forever refer to Liz as the "Earth Angel" who helped me birth my first baby. I would trust her to help me deliver all of my babies until the end of time.
