Sarah is an extraordinary nurse. She is the nurse that as a patient, you hope to have. She was kind, patient, understanding, empathetic, attentive, and funny just when you needed that laugh the most. Sarah controlled my pain to the best of her abilities, always staying ahead of or on track with pain management. She had a solution to anything I mentioned that I may be feeling or needing. Sarah's presence was always calm and relaxed, which lead me to feel more at ease as a patient. I feel Sarah is a leading example to nurses everywhere, and should be recognized for her extraordinary qualities. She is the nurse who made a profound difference in my stay here at St. Joe's/SCL hospital, and when I reflect back on this surgery, and how difficult a time in my life that this surgery was. I will never forget Sarah, her caring spirit, and the difference she made in my life. Thank you, Sarah. You will never be forgotten.

Sarah has such a fantastic attitude about caretaking! Her personality lights up the room and makes me instantly feel better! It was the 1st day for me to sit up and try to stand up and not only did her happiness get me out of bed, but she also even got me to walk a few feet! All day, she kept me smiling and laughing and I wish I could have had her all the time I’ve been here! Please recognize her extraordinary service as a nurse!
