Krista's two nominations below were written by a patient and a family member to acknowledge the care she provided to two patients recently.

Patient: Since the time I was admitted, Krista has been my 7 am to 7 pm nurse. Every time, she has had a smile on her face and anticipates my needs, which has been amazing.

Quick to respond to any request and a voice of reason, I have really come to trust her in a short amount of time. She’s a phenomenal liaison between me and my doctors and is also sharing with the me outcome of my tests.

I believe firmly (being a retired nurse) that it takes a certain type of person to not only possesses the abilities to be a good nurse, but a great one. I have been near tears, and she has such a sweet and calming demeanor, which I have seen her exhibit to everyone she interacts with. Should I ever need to be admitted again, I can only pray she will be my nurse.

Family Member: Krista is amazing, her positive and friendly attitude during my mother’s stay made our time so much easier. She made sure we had all the information we needed and that she understood all her medications before discharge.
