I would like to start by saying that you to Jasmin for going above and well beyond in caring for my mom during here recent stay at JCL. After being transferred to the 6th floor on her second day, Jasmin was assigned as her nurse. We had wonderful caring nurses the whole time, but Jasmin was absolutely exceptional and a godsend for what was a very frightening three days for all of us. She was not only extremely knowledgeable but one of the most caring, compassionate, warm, and attentive people/nurses I have ever come in contact with. She made us feel welcome and safe. I felt okay to leave occasionally to grab food or check on my family at home knowing Jasmin was there. She had an amazing disposition and bedside manner, never making you feel like she was being inconvenienced or that requests were burdensome. She kept us informed and updated at all times. She made special drinks for my mom, washed her hair, and placed food orders when mom couldn't because she was in a procedure. She was always happy and brought cheer, smiles, and a great laugh to what was otherwise a very stressful and scary time.
