D’Arcy is compassionate and caring both with her patients and her co-workers. She was assigned a patient who delivered a fetal demise at the end of her shift. She was so caring and compassionate with the patient and family. Even after she gave report, she stayed with the patient to help provide comfort. Her soft-spoken but clear words were just what the patient needed. Then, after her shift, she helped the oncoming nurse with all the phone calls and paperwork needed after an event such as this. And to add to this, in her kindness, she recognized another nurse in “You Got Caught Caring” for helping her with the delivery. She always volunteers for the harder assignments. You can count on her to support you when you need it, and she always comes to work with a great attitude.
