Krista has been a part of the Abrazo family since 2019. Krista goes above and beyond in everything she does. While completing her doctorate of nursing, Krista implemented a wound care project in the ICU to help prevent pressure injuries. Krista stepped into the role of interim director to help cover a temporary nurse leader vacancy.

Krista engages with staff, patients, and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Krista collaborates with physician leaders to help teach residents and participates in new hire orientation. Krista advocates for Central in the community while working as an adjunct professor. Krista promotes Central as a place to work and encourages nursing students to consider a career at Abrazo/Central.

Krista has a positive attitude, and is always looking for ways to overcome challenges and support the team. With her servant heart, she embraces the patient population and the community we serve. We are lucky to have her as part of the Central family!
