Vicki is one amazing Nurse. She played an instrumental role in assisting the Cath Lab with the music therapy research study. She assisted patients with navigating the technology and selecting music choices for use during their procedures. The patients were grateful for the help as well as the comfort they received. Her compassionate approach puts both the patient and family at ease before and after procedures.

Vicki is a valuable member of the nursing team at North. As the holding room nurse, she has built a bridge between the Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Services. She is a valuable member of the pre-procedure team when caring for patients receiving deep and moderate sedation. She works hand in hand with the anesthesia team when coordinating care between anesthesia and cardiology. With only having limited anesthesia resources and a tight schedule for the cardiologist, Vicki will coordinate the best time for both providers, the echo technologist, and the patient to expedite the TEE procedure.
