Kirstin MacLeod was passionate, caring and loving. She was our nurse at night.

When our daughter had two seizures at night, this nurse helped immediately, stayed by her side, and did everything and beyond to help. When she was working, I knew I could rest at night because I trusted Kirstin 100% with my daughter’s life. She was always very cheerful, passionate, and professional.

This nurse always took her time to care for my daughter and answer our questions. When my daughter had a high fever, Kirstin would fill up and bring ice packs for her. Always did everything with love, passion, and kindness. Everything she would do, from brushing her teeth, changing my daughter or just talking, I always felt so cared for and loved.

Kirstin definitely deserves the highest award, and PICU is lucky to have her. I wish we could take this nurse home with us. She will have a bright future because she was born to be a nurse.
