Feyi is one of our newer nurses to the EC whom I had the pleasure of precepting. Since her arrival, she has consistently demonstrated nursing excellence in going above and beyond for her patients.

As one example, Feyi voiced concern for a patient who was being discharged in paper scrubs last winter. She inquired if there were any additional resources that could be utilized and explained to me that the patient came with no clothing and no shoes. Feyi contacted the “Discharge with Dignity” closet and provided the patient with clothes, shoes, and personal hygiene items.

This is just a simple example of how caring and going the extra step for her patient greatly impacted that patient’s day, winter, and quality of life. I appreciate Feyi and all the care she brings to our vulnerable community.
