I was extremely fortunate to have Esther McHenry as my RN during my recent hospital stay in 4West, Kaiser Vallejo. All the RNs and support staff were great but Esther was amazing. I only list a few of the reasons below- 

•    She listened to me; I totally felt she listened to me
•    Compassionate 
•    Empathetic  
•    Sense of humor  
•    Confidence; obviously confident in dealing with any situation
•    Competent (see above)!
•    She cared  - cared that I was safe, that I was heard, that I was cared for, and that I understood what was happening to me 
•    She had quickly responded- I knew if Esther was around all was good; she responded timely 

Obviously, there’s so much more, but I just wanted to recognize this Extraordinary Nurse who made a positive difference in my stay in 4West.
