God put Danielle in my life Saturday, and I am so thankful for her.
I went to the ER on Saturday with severe side stomach pain. I was very nervous. I have always been afraid of doctors. I have gotten a little better over the past year, but going to the ER was a totally new experience for me as a patient.
Danielle took wonderful care of me. She calmed my nerves. She always asked me about my pain and if I needed anything. She was so gentle getting in my IV that I didn’t even feel it. That is a wonderful quality to have. Anytime she had to leave, she always told me she would be right back. She made sure I was comfortable and had what I needed.
I was given morphine for the pain. She kept checking to make sure it was helping. She told me what effects I would feel when it was administered. When it wasn’t working as well, she checked to see if I could receive more.
She told me about the tests I was going to have. It was determined I needed to have my gallbladder removed and had a UTI, I was on antibiotic, which she administered through IV.
My experience in the ER had the best outcome for a scary situation for me. God puts people in our lives for a reason. God put Danielle in my life Saturday, and I am so thankful for her. My husband is also thankful as he didn’t know how to help me. We are both seniors.
