Her kindness and compassion are limitless. It extends not only to her patients but also to her patient’s families. Her calm demeanor and positive attitude calm any existing challenges not only at the bedside but also within the walls of the ICU.
Tigist was very attentive to my husband after he had double bypass surgery. She is knowledgeable and top notch. She was very kind to me and my family and took time to explain his status and keep us updated. Tigist is an asset to Adventist HealthCare WOMC and should be recognized.

She is overwhelmingly thoughtful; you couldn’t ask for a nicer person. Tigist was very “zoned in” with my care and would even check in on me when I wasn’t assigned to her on other days. She is an awesome nurse who cares about her patients.

Tigist is an exceptional and valuable team member, showcasing an outstanding personality that endears her to colleagues. Her flexibility in adapting to allow her shifts to be moved around to meet unit needs is commendable, and she readily takes on extra shifts when requested. Tigist also demonstrates a passion for teaching novice nurses and is known for her helpful nature within the unit. Her name always comes up during patient leadership rounds for her excellent and attentive care. She is a great mentor to our newly hired staff. Tigist wholeheartedly shares her knowledge and expertise in taking care of critically ill patients. Her nurturing ways ease the transition of any newly hired staff into confident individuals who become a part of the ICU team. Tigist serves as an inspiration to the ICU team through her expertise and wealth of knowledge.
