When my husband and I met Caitlin for the first time, she put us at ease. Her technique for educating us was pleasant, and we felt like we were just visiting when she was really educating us on what to expect with surgery and the use of an ostomy bag in realistic terms that were easy to understand. She checked on me each day after surgery. At all times, she was very supportive and corrected any errors I made in a constructive manner. Each time we met, she would make sure everything was fine, asking me if I had any questions or concerns, and would ask my husband or me questions about our lifestyle so she could give us pointers on how to best make the ostomy bag fit into our lifestyle.
