I was 16 weeks pregnant and had just learned my baby boy had passed away due to a very rare health condition. I was scheduled to be induced and was feeling a mix of emotions; I was sad, scared, nervous, and just trying to process everything that was happening. From the moment I checked in with labor and delivery I immediately felt I was in good hands. Every single person I met on the labor and delivery floor was so kind and patient with me. The staff not only checked on me but also checked on my family and made sure they were okay. Carley was truly my guardian angel on the worst night of my life. I was dealing with so many emotions, and Carley reminded me I was strong, and she never made me feel judged. Carley listened to my needs and made me feel supported. Carley held my hand when I needed it and comforted me in a way I didn’t know I needed. I was given all the time I needed with my baby boy. I was given a memory box that truly meant the world to me. I will never forget how all the staff cared for me. I will forever be grateful to all the labor and delivery staff, especially Carley.
