Turning a patient's worst day into a good one is such a great pleasure. Even though caring for others is part of my daily responsibilities, I put my heart and soul into it. Therefore, the smiles, the satisfaction of patients, and the remarkable moments that happen every day are the rewards I receive.

I also have an inspiring story about one of my patients. This patient had to undergo cataract surgery under general anesthesia; she was extremely anxious about this operation due to a bad experience in the past. For this reason, I consistently provided her with information so that she would feel more relieved until the surgery was complete.

She expressed a profound sense of relief and comfort due to my attentive care. “Thank you for always taking care of me and providing me with information,” she said to me. These words make me feel delighted, and I always receive a wonderful blessing from the patients.

Moreover, I am able to provide good service to patients every day because of my team, who always support me. It is such an honor to receive the DAISY Award. Thank you for recognizing the importance and dedication of the nurse.
