I have been a patient in Whitbread ward numerous times in the past ten years, and currently for the last few months, and honesty cannot express how grateful I am and feel to have the pleasure of being cared for and treated by the entire team here. I personally find it very reassuring and comforting that over the years, a majority of the Team has remained the same - and it is clear to myself and other patients that the team you have here goes above and beyond. It is hard to narrow it down to some extent, as to whom I feel most gratitude towards - however in the past few weeks I must express my utmost thanks and gratitude to staff Nurse Remy. Remy is an absolutely exceptional Nurse, whom I feel extremely lucky to be cared for at present. I, unfortunately, contracted Sepsis, and I cannot thank Remy enough for the incredible manner in which she seemed to notice my symptoms and act upon them accordingly. She went above and beyond for me, and I feel so, so fortunate and safe in her care, and here at Whitbread ward. I would be grateful If she could be recognized for the exceptional Nurse that she is, as I personally cannot thank her enough, for ultimately 'saving’ me in what could have possibly been quite a clinical medical complication. Thank you again to Remy, and the Whitbread Team, you are incredible.
