Mara is driven by passion to care for everyone the same way with love unconditionally.  The empathy she has for us shows.  You see the way she treats you makes you feel confident that you are in the right hands and treats you the way you want to be treated.  Trust is a two-way street.  Mara shows you this by opening up not just by a number and name on a bracelet, but by her actions showing you to trust her and you will have a terrific visit even though you are not well.  She has a way of distracting whatever our situation is.  Admirable attributes-what isn't there to like.  She infects you with her smile, kindness, and willingness to help at any cost.  I wish every nurse were trained by Mara.  Then they would all get that thing that Mara has:  Admiration for her career and every patient she encountered.  Love:  Mara “La Mariposa” meaning butterfly as I call her is special.  Although everyone is beautiful, Mara is beautiful inside and out like a butterfly.  She loves wholeheartedly with her heart, and that's the key. Love what you do and love one another like Mara, the butterfly.  She is the biggest asset of this hospital.

She knows my father already.  He has too many chronic conditions that he lives at the hospital, and she is so passionate for what she is doing that my father loves her so much.  She became like a second daughter to him.  I'm relaxed when I not there because of her.  She takes care of him as is if it were me.  Thanks so much Mara.
