Taylor provided extraordinary nursing care and skills while intervening on behalf of an infant patient who was being shaken by their caregiver. Taylor heard the baby crying and was alarmed at the length of the cry. She checked in on the baby and saw the caregiver shaking it violently. The nurse put herself between the caregiver and the baby to protect them and prevent further shaking.
