Nurse Denese made her feel safe and comfortable.
My daughter is Autistic ASD level 1, so her anxiety level during any medical situation is high. Nurse Denese made her feel safe and comfortable. She explained step by step what they were going to do and what to expect, which in itself helped my daughter feel comfortable. I am grateful for her compassion and professionalism.

Denese was on duty for me and my husband’s ER visit as we had COVID-19. She took care of us like we were her own! She never complained and was always cheerful. Did her job as a professional. When it came time that we would be there over the noon hour she ordered lunch and made sure we were taken care of until our dismissal. We could plainly see she was a special person for the DAISY Award. She deserves to have a double, double award. We love her.
