I am writing on behalf of my mother. This story is about one of her angels who was around her always during this difficult time. Her name is Jo, and she is wonderful. She brought [the] first smile to Mom’s face during the time she was there. Jo started to learn Farsi because her patient spoke Farsi. When I talked to my mom, Jo was there listening. She repeated the word “Afarin,” and mom was looking [at her] face and started to smile. Afarin means bravo or excellent [in Farsi]. Jo tried to learn some strange language to communicate with her patient. She went above and beyond her duties. Thanks, from mom and her family, to Jo.
