My mother is currently intubated in the ICU and her prognosis is not good. Kelli is her ICU nurse and has been the most caring and empathetic person in such a hard time for our family. She has explained everything to us step by step, called to give updates regularly, and has overall made us feel confident in my mother’s care and treatment. We have a family member who is not the easiest to handle, and Kelli has met her with grace, understanding, and patience. She has been a light in a terrible time, and we will forever be grateful for her. Whatever the outcome is with my mom, I know for certain she has received the best and most attentive care from Kelli. It’s a nurse's job to take care of their patients, but she has taken care of our family as well. Kelli deserves this award and recognition. Without a doubt, she has touched our lives.
