Aracely is one of our amazing nurses who first joined Salinas Valley Health as a New Graduate Nurse and has built an impressive career here, serving our community and patients with every advancement in her skills and education.  She joined the Comprehensive Cancer Center in August 2006 and over the past 17 years, has continuously sought new opportunities and education by obtaining a Progressive Care Certified Nurse Certification in 2019, completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2020, and achieving her current title of Staff Nurse III in 2021, currently part of the Radiology Department.

The nomination was submitted by a patient’s grateful daughter and reads:

“My Mom had a procedure done today. She made my Mom feel so comfortable. My mom was embarrassed because she soiled her sheets. Aracely was warm and caring and told her not to worry and that she would take care of it and change her. She didn’t rush my mom, was patient, and her voice and body language were calm and welcoming. She was very informative to me.”
