From the moment we came to the labor and delivery unit, we knew there was something special about Celene Menchaca. She introduced herself, and she treated us like we were a guest staying at a 5-star resort. She was very kind and respectful, super knowledgeable, and always eager to help or go above and beyond. Menchaca took care of us. While getting us some cold water, everyone left the room. My wife screamed her water had broken and she needed to push. At this point, we had only been in the hospital for roughly 35-45 minutes. I had to yell in the hallway my wife's water broke, and she needed to push. Menchaca sprung into action, and everyone on our team came into the room and helped out to the very best. Within 10 minutes, the baby came. After the baby came, Menchaca was like Wonder Woman. She was taking care of my wife and baby girl. You can tell she has natural mother instincts because she handled my baby with the utmost respect. While doing her exam, it was so awesome to be able to help and be a part of that. I felt like I was on top of the world. She was very knowledgeable, answering any questions I had. I honestly felt blessed to have her as our nurse. She went above and beyond. We were so happy she was a part of our baby's life. I will never forget her. She is just the greatest. Truly was a blessing that she kept her composure and helped keep ours. She's a well-qualified nurse, and I definitely see big things in her future. She was incredibly helpful and kept the best attitude the entire time. She made me feel comfortable and at home! I absolutely loved her. My wife and I hope she gets great recognition.
