If ever there were the embodiment of compassion in a person, that would be Dr. Wong.  She is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and encourages her students to strive for the same.  Dr. Wong is the most passionate instructor I have had in college and she has made a significant impact on myself and my goals as a nursing student, and future nurse.

She goes above and beyond for her students.  When asked to describe her character, she said "I try to always lead with kindness."  Dr. Wong is what a nursing instructor should be.  She is so passionate about guiding future nurses while still being understanding of us as individuals.  She exemplifies what it is to be a professional nurse.  I admire her and feel she is so deserving of this award.  From level one to level four, she has been a true gem to the faculty of TVCC.  Thank you Dr. Wong for your compassion for others and your passion to teach!

Dr. Wong has always been an amazing mentor/professor during my time at TVCC.  Dr. Wong does things the way they are supposed to be done and never cuts corners. You can tell that she really cares for her students to be successful.  She will take her time to help you at any time of the day and is always available.  She truly cares to educate and inspire her students to do the best they can.  Dr. Wong is very kind yet firm.  She always has patience and has a way of making you feel calm in an uncomfortable situation.  She is truly the best teacher I have ever come across and all nursing instructors should aspire to teach and mentor the way she does.
