Nahshondrea “Tremaine” Massey helped my 16-year-old daughter (who has severe anxiety) feel comfortable and calm during her ED visit. My daughter was in severe pain, suffering from appendicitis. Further, there was not a private room available; therefore, she was on a stretcher in the hallway. Tremaine made her feel calm and well taken care of. She had my daughter laughing and smiling. She reassured us throughout our 5-hour stay that our daughter was a 'soldier' and a 'great patient'(which my over-achieving teenager greatly needed to hear.) After being transferred to Wolfson for her impending surgery, my daughter turned to me and whispered, 'I want my nurse back. I miss Tremaine!' Tremaine is an outstanding nurse who made an anxious, worried teenager feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you, Tremaine!

Tramine went above and beyond to make sure the patients were comfortable. She gave us warm blankets and drinks and crackers etc to those that wanted. She was constantly checking to see if we were ok. I’m scared to death of needles, and she was so good with me starting my IV. Tramine, thank you so much.
