Myriam Lallemand-Gutierrez is what the good Lord thought of when he made nurses. Her compassion for her patients and her knowledge of medicine are, as far as I’m concerned, unmatched. I had never met Myriam until I had a heart attack and ended up in ICU. As I woke up and realized I was in my hospital room, in came a young lady who, by the first impression, was friendly, caring, and experienced. She immediately put me at ease and made me feel like I was going to be okay. She seemed to make everything run smoothly and was able to get me lunch, which I needed badly. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in the hospital over the last ten years. I’ve never had a nurse like Myriam who just made sure every detail was covered. My hope is that anybody who has an event in their life where they need a nurse will be able to have Myriam. I can’t wish her a big enough well of wishes. Thank you, Myriam, for making me feel like everything was going to be ok. You’ll always have a friend in me, and my deepest appreciation for everything you did for me.
