I am the wife of your patient. Ricardo saw my struggle with walking and carrying bags and my portable oxygen (heart, pleural effusions, and cancer). He got a wheelchair and took me to the 5th level of the parking garage at night when I was all alone in the garage. He refused to leave until I was securely locked in the car. The next day, he recruited S to take me when his shift changed, and he could not take care of me. These two men made me feel safe and cared for. I'm grateful to them.
