Emily has been an integral part of the PD programs, not only in her own facility but throughout the Las Vegas area. She exemplifies the WECARE behaviors. Around September of last year, another facility was in need of an experienced PD nurse, and this TM raised her hand to assist a facility in need. Her presence there was immediately felt. She made corrections to some inconsistencies with charting and developed a really good relationship with the patients she cared for.

The care that she provided was so good that she was requested by the Nephrologist to stay longer and strictly have her assist at the clinic because of how well she's taken care of the patients. At her facility, she was greatly missed by the patients she oversaw and would be constantly asked about her return. Emily goes out of her way to help her patients. May it be going the extra mile to ensure they have supplies before their trip, confirming appointments, or providing resources, this TM deserves recognition for providing the utmost care to her patients.
