I have had Professor Simman three sessions, and in those three sessions there have been many situations where he made a difference in my academic journey. During lab we had to dissect a sheep's brain. We had the lab documents and equipment. He helped each table with dissection, explaining the parts of the brain, quizzing us on the labeling of the brain until we got it right, answered all our questions, tested us by asking questions to help build our learning for academic success. Professor Simman asked our opinions on learning styles and techniques. He would adapt the lesson to incorporate different learning methods. This helped me expand my learning because I was learning in different ways, I was able to process and view things differently in a positive way. When I was scared or nervous before an exam he would go above and beyond to answer all my questions and teach me whatever I was struggling with.
