Daulton made gentle recommendations of when to stop certain interventions and educated us about the dying process.
My father was nearing the end of his life. We had a large family – 10 children. My mother had passed over five years prior, and not many were able to be present with her. It was important for most children to be present with my dad when the time came. Daulton welcomed each and every one of us and made us feel at home in this difficult situation. Every time he came into the room, he told us exactly what he was doing, offering suggestions or interventions he could do to ease my father’s pain. The confidence he exuded was exactly what our family needed.

Daulton made gentle recommendations of when to stop certain interventions and educated us about the dying process. He made connections with multiple family members and shared information about himself. He brought in a computer to play my dad’s favorite music. He printed off a heart rhythm strip and gave us a little token when our dad passed, and gave us a hug after his shift. Daulton gave my father the most peaceful death.
