I experienced one of the most traumatic medical episodes in my life and I firmly believe that the nurses assigned to my care were instrumental in my swift recovery.
I want to nominate the exceptional ICU nursing team at Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights who played a pivotal role in my recovery in 2023. I experienced one of the most traumatic medical episodes in my life and I firmly believe that the nurses assigned to my care were instrumental in my swift recovery. From the moment I arrived in ICU, I was met with professionalism and empathy. The nurses demonstrated a genuine interest in my well-being going above and beyond to ensure not only my physical comfort but also my emotional and psychological needs. Each nurse showed immense skill in their time with me. They each attended to my medical needs with compassion. I am grateful for the medical team who brought me to Ascension. I believe I would not have received better care from the nursing staff anywhere else but here.
