This was my first time having a colonoscopy and I couldn’t have asked for a more caring, thorough, and respectful nurse. Ranjit (RN in gastroenterology) was amazing and put me at ease and took incredible care of me during a vulnerable time for me. I appreciate her attention to detail, and her cleanliness is to the highest standard; I didn’t have to worry about when she last changed her gloves, and usually, I have to sanitize my hands constantly in the medical facility. Strong skill set, the IV she quickly inserted didn’t bruise and hurt less than the lab blood draw earlier in the week. Her communication was wonderful; she constantly told me what to expect next, and that really helped my anxiety about the process. She was calm and compassionate. I felt like I had a family member or close friend taking care of me, not a stranger that I had never met before. I appreciate her being with me throughout the entire process, and she definitely made this intrusive procedure a lot less difficult for me.
