Amy is a very caring nurse not just for her assigned patients, but all the patients. She is always willing to lend a helping hand. She gets involved, and she is proactive. She puts others ahead of herself. She is ambitious and has this very special energy that every nurse should have.

I hear her laughing with her patients and one time I walked by and saw her dancing to cheer up her patient. She seems to find something in every patient to make them feel special. She encourages them to do what they can do for themselves so they can improve and go home. She is straightforward with her patients and lets them know what they need to work on in order to improve. She likes spending time with her patients and getting to know them better because she is a nurse and loves her job. She goes out of her way, above and beyond, to make sure her patients feel special. She even once gave a patient an extra pair of shoes because they didn't have any in order to go home.

She is one of the resource staff. She is knowledgeable, and if she doesn't know the answer, she will find out. She puts others ahead of herself. She is ambitious and just has that special energy that only a truly caring nurse would have!
