From the moment I arrived at the unit after surgery, Agnes was extremely kind and attentive! She immediately went on a search for a bigger bariatric bed, knowing I would be much more comfortable in one. A bed finally arrived, and she rushed in to try to get me in bed as I was terribly uncomfortable. There was no cord left with the bed, and when calling for a new bed, their urgency was not important, but [it was to] Agnes for her patient! She and several other nursing staff members struggled to figure the bed out and sweat it up. I felt so bad for her and all the nurses taking their time away and their heavy physical labor to get me comfortable. Thankfully, Agnes returned in the morning to be my nurse again, and she was just as amazing! She truly has a passion for what she does and those around her! She was extremely patient, a great patient advocate, and made me feel extremely comfortable!
