My baby was born premature at 34 1/2 weeks. We had several amazing NICU nurses, but none like Sarah Lewis. From the first day we had her as my baby's nurse - she displayed such attentive, gentle and nurturing care for my little angel. On the first day, she took her time to teach me how to properly check her temperature, change her diaper correctly, and made sure to watch over us while I struggled to get my baby to latch onto her bottle's nipple. Even though she was very busy, she really took her time with me as a nervous first-time mom. She used her own experiences as a mom, when I was in pain from breastfeeding, to recommending some tips to soothe my nipple pain. From day one - my husband, mother, and I were so impressed by how sweet and educational her care was, so we asked her to be our primary nurse. Since then, every time she came into work, we have felt great relief that our baby would receive extraordinary care. I will never forget the love and attention she gave our baby in the first days of their life. Thank you, Sarah!
