Shelbi has consistently been my nurse for a month and has demonstrated compassionate and exceptional care. I ruptured at 24 weeks and was becoming increasingly depressed from being in the hospital for so long. She was attentive to my concerns and advocated for me in so many ways.

The day I found out devastating news about my baby, she consulted the neonatologist for me and helped me develop questions to ask him so that I could gain more insight into my baby’s wellbeing. Shelbi went above and beyond; she encouraged me to get out of bed when I had no desire or fight left in me. She knew my mental health was decompensating and took action to help me improve my mental health, which is just as important as my physical health. Shelbi was very knowledgeable and displayed effective communication skills. When a cleaning issue arose, she worked with the EVS supervisor to resolve it effectively. We need more nurses like Shelbi and will always be grateful.
