Krysty is an incredible ICU nurse, with whom I have had the honor to work for over a decade. On a day that we were working together, Krysty responded to a code with me to family birth. As we arrived at the room, we realized the unfortunate crisis was for a new baby. Krysty was the calm in a very chaotic crisis. She stepped in and was able to take lead with supporting the doctors with stabilizing baby. Krysty's quick reaction and knowledge on how to deal with any parents’ worst nightmare was truly amazing. Krysty supported the staff in Family Birth long after the best outcome possible was achieved. She truly showed her team player ability; her skill set is unmatched by any nurse in this hospital, and she showed compassion to comfort the family afterward. I am grateful to have had Krysty working with me that day more than any other and feel that baby benefitted the most from her presence. She is our lucky Cricket.
