Cindy is a true lifesaver; she is the first call for myself and many other providers in my primary care office when we need assistance with a patient who is also seen by cardiology. She is always happy to help in any way needed.  She will get an appointment for a patient, notify cardiology providers of concerns, follow up with patients and providers to make sure that their issues are resolved. She is always quick to respond and thorough in her research and follow up. She uses her experience and compassion to provide premier care to our patients. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our Liberty Hospital team, and I believe that she deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond to provide the best care for our patients.

In February of 2002, as a grad nurse, Cindy was my nurse preceptor.  Her skills and knowledge shaped and molded me into the nurse I am today.  For that, I am forever grateful.  I have worked off and on throughout the years with Cindy.   From the original 3 East, and only Tele floor, to 7S Neuro/tele floor, she has always been a resource for me along the way.  She still is today!  I truly am blessed to have had the best nursing preceptor and friend EVER! 
 
There are so many great qualities that make her a superhero nurse to me and many others throughout the Liberty health system. Cindy is a very kind, compassionate, and thorough nurse who puts her patients first, above all else. Every one of her patients gets top-notch care and monitoring. Cindy loves to teach, whether it is her coworkers, patient, or their families. She makes the time for them to truly understand and ask questions. She is very knowledgeable in many areas of nursing and chronic disease processes. Cardiology has always been "her jam," which makes LCS one of the luckiest clinics to have her be a part of. Today, if I call her about a mutual patient, I know she is on top of it. She does whatever she can to make sure that patient gets what they need or get their Cardiology team involved right away. This allows patients to get the best, fastest, quality care they need. It is very reassuring to us all just to know Cindy is involved. I know if Cindy is aware, it will get taken care of. She finds a way to get my patients in to see their cardiology team whenever I call. She keeps the line of communication going between my clinic and her providers. She will update us all on the plan of care, and continuation of care with our patients.

There aren't enough awards or recognitions to truly capture Cindy's dedication as a nurse, mentor, or friend. She is a real-life angel. She truly found her calling and we are all lucky to have been a part of it along the way. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
