I am writing to express my sincere appreciation and recognition of the care I received throughout my stay in the Telemetry Unit from your nurse employee Ms. Nikki Lee.  I was admitted to care following a situation in which I was admitted due to complications of pneumonia and extreme pain in my left rib cage and chest. 

I wish to express my sincere appreciation and admiration for Ms. Lee, whom I believe should be recognized and rewarded for her outstanding patient care.  My initial experience with Memorial Care was not ideal. I was frustrated and in great distress.  After two days of suffering and what I perceived as a lack of concern, I was attended to by Ms. Lee.  She was caring, empathetic, and understanding.  She is a wonderful ambassador of your hospital, allowing me to express my disdain, immediately address my concerns, and provide excellent care.  She exceeds the definition of caregiving in her professionalism and true desire to help.  

I am aware that each nurse experiences unique situations, provides care to many people throughout their day, and serves many shifts.  That being said, I truly feel that Ms. Lee should be recognized as a professional and an example of an ambassador of the service that Memorial Care provides to patients.  

I was discharged on my birthday, which she acknowledged, and she went above and beyond to provide me with a bouquet, a gift, and a card she took the time to have her fellow nurses sign personally.  OH WOW! I cannot tell you the impact that had on me, both personally and physically.  She lifted my spirits and left me with feelings of amazement and appreciation in an otherwise very dismal experience.

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all the patients she cares for and to stress that you recognize Ms. Lee as a true brand ambassador of your hospital and the care you strive to provide.
